Happy Valentine's Day!!!
Cooper and Mackenzie had their first Valentine's day today. They got cute stuffed animals and cards from Mom, Dad, Su-Su, and Poppa.
Cooper seemed to like putting the cards in his mouth more than anything else. . .
Then we went to the local farmer's market and got a few things. It was 75 degrees out and everyone was hot.
Nicole picked out some flowers (only $6!) and we ate a little food.
We also found a really cool jewelry stall where they take impressions into clay and cast silver charms. The kids made impressions of their fingers and in a couple of weeks Nicole will have two charms with Cooper and Mackenzie's finger prints, names, and the date on them!
Mackenzie was a little apprehensive about the whole process but it all turned out okay!!!

Celebrating Daddy's Birthday
Mitch's birthday is Tuesday, February 9th, but we decided to start celebrating a little early! I planned a trip on Saturday for Cooper and Mackenzie to make a special pottery piece with their hand and foot prints for their daddy. They were VERY good in the store and seemed to enjoy smashing their hands and feet into the clay.
We all enjoyed watching the Superbowl on Sunday. Mackenzie was able to cheer for the Saints again, although she and Cooper went to bed before half time. Mitch and I enjoyed being able to watch the rest of the game which ended at 7pm, LOVE west coast time!
I also baked a cake for Mitch's birthday, but we will sing "Happy Birthday" and blow out the candles on Tuesday. We also have a few presents for him to open.
