Hanging out this weekend

Here are some photos from this weekend. Cooper and Mackenzie enjoyed watching football with daddy on Sunday, and of course mommy played dress up with them too!
Mackenzie also enjoyed exploring the exersaucer, lots of fun things to make noise and light up!

4 Month Pediatric Appointment

Cooper and Mackenzie had their 4 month pediatric appointment on Friday and our pediatrician is impressed with how well they are doing. He was pleasantly surprised to see how much they have grown!
Cooper weighs 16 lbs, is 25 inches long, and has a head circumference of 16.9 inches. Overall his weight and length put him in the 82nd percentile and his head is in hte 89th percentile!!! No wonder he has had a hard time holding up his head!
Mackenzie weighs 14lbs, is 24 inches long, and has a head circumference of 15.7 inches. Overall her weight and lenth put her in the 70th percentile! This is amazing considering they were premies, and have TRIPLED in size!
They are completely perfect on examination and did really well with their immunizations. They stopped crying as soon as we could hold them after their shots.
All those night feedings and worrying have paid off!
Here are some photos from this weekend. They were a little fussy on Sunday, probably not feeling great from their immunizations, BUT they only woke once Sunday night for feedings!

Dress Up

I have enjoying dressing Cooper and Mackenzie now that they are able to fit into more of their adorable clothes. They are also much more interactive, so when they are awake, it is time for mommy to play dress up!

Downtown San Diego Festival

Mitch and I have enjoyed the Italian festival that is every Saturday in downtown San Diego. We couldn't ask for better weather; 60-70's! Cooper and Mackenzie are usually very good in the stroller, but when Cooper gets fussy we have a new Ergo baby carrier that he enjoys.

New Years Eve

Mitch's nanny, Marcia spent an entire week with us. Not only taking care of Cooper and Mackenzie, but also Mitch and I, by making us jerk chicken one night, and pasta another night. She also took care of Cooper and Mackenzie New Year's Eve and Mitch and I had our first date since they were born. We had a wonderful dinner at Flemmings steak house and spent a wonderful night sleeping in the Marriott hotel!

Cooper and Mackenzie

I LOVE them in these winter hats, so I had to post some of our photos on the blog!

Walks along Sunset Cliffs

We have loved being able to take Cooper and Mackenzie on walks with the BOB stroller. The weather here couldn't be better and we live in an absolutely beautiful location, just a few blocks from the Pacific Ocean. Cooper has been a little fussy in the stroller, so we have had to bring along one of our many baby carriers! He usually falls right asleep :)
We even took a walk the day after Christmas and Poppa got to push the BOB stroller that he gave us. It was a little chilly, so Mackenzie decided to snuggle in her blanket. I carried Cooper in our Bjorn baby carrier covered in a blanket.

Family Visiting for Christmas

We loved having SuSu, Poppa, and Nick here for Christmas and hope to have everyone, including Amanda and Chris back out here next year! I don't think anyone minded the 60-70 degree temperature!

Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year! It is such a joy having Cooper and Mackenzie here this year and we look forward to next year when they will be even more interactive! We loved having SuSu, Poppa, and Nick here and wish we could have had Amanda and Chris too!
Cooper and Mackenzie received a new swing (which has been really helpful for naps), crib soothers, and toys from mommy and daddy. Santa brought Cooper a stuffed alligator and Mackenzie a stuffed giraffe. They also got lots of cute clothes and toys from friends and family.

Santa Babies!

Instead of taking Cooper and Mackenzie to see Santa at the mall this year, I dressed them in matching smocked outfits and santa outfits and took lots of photos!!!!
